Alison Doody

Alison Doody (born 11 November 1966) is an Irish model and actress. Doody made her acting debut in a Bond film called A View to a Kill in the year 1985. She starred in 1989 as an archaeologist with Nazi sympathies Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Siobhan Donevan in A Prayer for the Dying (1997), Charlotte Taffin (1988), and Rebecca Flannery Major League II (1994) were other characters. Doody was a model after she was approached. Next, she portrayed Dr. Elsa Schneider as an Austrian Nazi-sympathizer and archaeologist opposite Harrison Ford. Doody has co-starred alongside Jonathan Pryce, in the British miniseries Selling Hitler. The series was in part inspired by the Hitler Diaries publishing scam. Then, she moved to Hollywood. In 2010 Doody shot a part of Danny Dyer's movie The Rapture (2010). Doody was a guest on RTE's Medical drama The Clinic. The project was eventually canceled. In 2011 she began the first season of two on E4 comedy drama Beaver Falls playing Pam Jefferson. In 2014, she appeared on We Still Kill the Old Way (2014).
